Transcendence consists of digital prints of 3D rendered radiological scans on perspex. The lungs have been transformed into a state of intangibility, losing their physicality as they enter the digital realm. Here, they come infinite and timeless.

 

The light shining through creates the shadows, I like to think these lungs surpass their state of digital confinement and can once again breathe.  With them, we can see past the physicality of something and start to question what is beyond that.
